We are very pleased to announce that we are running a series of workshops again this summer for young people aged 12-19yrs old.
Teenagers from Mid Wales who are interested in Art and Sculpture are invited to get involved in designing and contributing towards a sculpture project based on equality and diversity. They will have the chance to explore their ideas under expert guidance, gaining practical experience and theoretical knowledge.
Workshops will be held at Mid Wales Arts Centre, Caersws every Wednesdays from the 2nd - 30 August. Those attending will learn about different approaches to sculpture and work with Cathy Knapp and Jane Mason, an accomplished sculptor who creates unique work using natural materials.
Thanks to support from The Ashley Family Foundation we have funding to run these workshops at affordable prices.
We strongly advise early booking as places are limited, you can attend some or all of the sessions.
Mid Wales Arts have been successfully running 'Sculpteen' every summer since 2015 and many young people have been inspired to go on and study art and sculpture.
